Which air purifiers actually earn their price — ranked by CADR per dollar
Data study · air-purifiers
We divided each purifier's AHAM-verified smoke CADR by its current price to find which ones actually move air for the money. Five units, all measured the same way — no estimates blended in. The order reshuffles the usual "premium equals better" assumption. Want the quietest pick for a bedroom instead? See [air purifiers by clean air per decibel](/lp/air-purifier-cadr-per-decibel).

Methodology
Smoke CADR per dollar = AHAM-verified smoke CADR ÷ current price; higher is better. Every row uses an AHAM-sourced smoke CADR so the comparison stays apples-to-apples — models we only have independent PM1 test data for are held out rather than blended in, and anything without a verified figure is excluded, not guessed.
