High confidenceLast checkedApple's September 2025 flagship is almost indistinguishable from the Series 10, and several of its marquee features, hypertension alerts and a daily Sleep Score among them, actually ship with watchOS 26 to older watches too. The genuine hardware gains are a display Apple says is twice as scratch-resistant, optional 5G, and a battery that finally reaches a real 24 hours, with fast charging that buys roughly eight hours from fifteen minutes on the puck. Reviewers from CNN Underscored to Wareable landed in the same place: it's the most polished smartwatch you can buy for an iPhone and an easy upgrade from a Series 8 or older, but hard to justify if you bought last year. Still iPhone-only.
