How we grade — our three lenses
Every product on PickGrade is graded through three fixed lenses. Each lens is owned by one named editor whose expertise fits it. The lens score you see on a product page is a weighted average of that lens's criteria — it isn't hand-entered.

The honest-methodology line
Grading is based on verified specs, published standards, aggregated owner feedback, and structured research — not hands-on lab testing, unless a page explicitly says otherwise. When we're unsure, we lower the confidence badge on that product rather than inflate a score.
