Samsung's July 2025 watch borrows the Galaxy Watch Ultra's cushion-shaped case, trims the body to 8.6mm, and pushes the AMOLED screen to a searing 3,000 nits, and it's among the first watches to ship with Wear OS 6 and Google Gemini on board. Samsung Health piles on new metrics like an Antioxidant Index and Vascular Load. Tom's Guide, Wareable and PhoneArena all liked the redesign, the accurate tracking and the AI, but every one of them flagged the same weaknesses: roughly a day of battery, sluggish charging, and a handful of health features locked to Samsung phones. And like every Galaxy Watch, it's Android-only.
