The safe all-rounder. Most clip-ons only handle taste, but the PUR PLUS is also certified for lead under NSF 53 and clips on tool-free. Cartridges last only 2-3 months and it won't fit pull-down faucets, but for certified taste-and-lead at the tap, it's the default.
The PUR PLUS faucet mount is the rational default for filtered water straight from the tap. Its filter is certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for chlorine taste and odor plus lead reduction, and PUR's faucet line also carries certification for a long list of additional contaminants — a broader certified profile than most clip-on competitors.
