The drone most people should buy. Under 249g so it skips US registration and pockets easily, yet it shoots 4K/60 HDR and adds full obstacle sensing that makes new pilots brave. It's twitchy in wind, but for travel and learning nothing in its class touches it.
The drone that gets almost everything right for almost everyone. The Mini 4 Pro sneaks in under 249 grams, so in the US it needs no registration and it folds into a jacket pocket, yet its 1/1.3-inch sensor shoots genuinely good 4K/60 HDR and the gimbal flips vertical for social clips. The big leap over the old Mini is full omnidirectional obstacle sensing, which makes flying in tight or wooded spots far less nerve-wracking. It's light enough to get pushed around in strong wind and the aperture is fixed, but as one easy, travel-friendly, rules-light drone, it's the default pick.
