The right AI subscription for a team that already lives in Microsoft 365. Instead of copying work into a separate chatbot, Copilot sits inside Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, drafting and triaging email, recapping meetings with action items, writing and rewriting docs, building slides, and helping with formulas, all grounded in your company's own data via Microsoft Graph and respecting each user's existing permissions. The honest catch is cost structure: it's an add-on, so you must already pay for a qualifying Microsoft 365 base plan, which pushes the real per-seat cost well above the headline price. It also stays inside the Microsoft world and won't natively search Slack or Notion. For Microsoft-first shops that keep their files organized, it's the natural pick; everyone else should look at a general assistant.

• −The Enterprise tier requires an annual commitment, and there is no free trial for the Business add-on
• −Output quality depends heavily on how well-organized your SharePoint and OneDrive data already is
• −Independent data shows low scale-up: only about 6% of pilots expanded, with usage often plateauing by month three
